My opinion on this film was poor, I really didn’t understand it or its purpose, we later researched it and discovered it was for the purpose of a television advert to promote a band. It was banned and now I can understand why it was not suitable for viewers, The film opened in darkness which kept me as a viewer in suspense wondering what was going to emerge the title was written on a condom which was pulled from a penis straight away this hinted to me that “Rubber Johnny” was not a small rubber character about to embark on an adventure, it was going to be a video with a sexual nature. The music that accomplished the video was erratic and reminded me of a song that might be used in a hardcore rave.
