Michel Gondry

Michel Gondry is a French film director, screen writer and music video director, he is famous for his visual style and manipulation of mise en scene.

His film making career started with making music videos for Rock band "oui oui" which he was a part of, the style of the video got the attention of artist Bjork, she asked him to create a music video for her. Not only did he create one he then went one to do many more, his style went into a category of his own and many artists wanted him   to do theirs, as well as doing music video's he experimented in television commericals. He pioneered the "bullet time" technique which was then later adapted and featured in the film "The Matrix".
